Blogmaster Note

Since the subscription to Political India has increased by 50% over the last few months to a grand figure of 3 (!), the time is ripe to make the blog more personal (and hence perhaps more even more engaging/interesting to new-comers). Thus as reader of the blog you may expect two changes:

1. The views of the editorial team, rooted in sound analysis, will be presented to you in addition to cutting edge reports of media developments in India

2. The analytical focus will continue to be media developments in India, but the scope of the blog will expand to include other issues in Indian politics (as indeed was promised in the introductory blog entry).

To all readers who face the tantalizing decision of whether or not to subscribe to this charming blog, we might point you towards the simplest of methods to sample our product- RSS. You might notice there is a little orange 'button' in the left frame that says 'sub bloglines'. Just click on that, create a free account with bloglines, and whenever there is a new entry on Political India you'll see it immediately (assuming you sign in to bloglines to check your account every now and again). A hassle free way to explore the marvellous world of blogs! (And indeed many other feeds such those of news websites)

To all regular readers and subscribers, we encourage you to drop us a line and share you views on both the issues raised herein as well as any suggestions you have for the blog itself. Thanks for your interest!
